Our team is growing quickly in both our SF and LA locations and we are hiring across all business functions. We are looking for team members who are equally passionate about what we do and excited about joining the Dolls Kill crew.


· Ensure on-time, high quality delivery of all projects from end-to-end by defining messaging and copy on all digital and branding assets.

· Internalize the Dolls Kill brand and voice to craft messaging that is directly relevant to our customer and audience.

· Brainstorm and create persuasive, clear and strategic copy that drives business results and can be fully integrated, online and offline.

· Confidently manage multiple projects on several campaigns at once while remaining flexible, positive and detail oriented through revisions.

· Partner with cross functional teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics while driving brand voice.

· Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to ideate new ideas and take them from rough thoughts to clear, concise, finished campaigns.

· Research our consumers and competitors to find the best way to present our products to various target markets on different platforms.

· Develop a deep understanding of consumer mindsets, attitudes, & behaviors to inform strong creative development.

· Reconcile digital plans and proof creative work to ensure accuracy of information, spelling, and tonality.

· Partner with designers to support and inform their design choices and create a cohesive brand experience that delights customers and supports Dolls Kill brand voice.

· Work tactically across all communication channels including social, digital, search, print and emerging media.

· Work with creative leadership, and independently, to build a robust online magazine/blog from the ground up.

· Create a development plan for direct reports and actively engage in the inspiration, training, and professional growth of the team.

· This role manages and mentors a growing team of Copywriters and Social Content Creators


· Minimum 3-5 years digital based copywriting experience in retail or similar field

· A creative storyteller who inspires and connects directly to our audience

· Experience in managing multiple long and short-term projects both reactive and complex

· Passion for copywriting, language, user experience, creative direction, and editorial design

· Experience with digital writing, website copy preferred

· Degree in Creative Writing, Advertising (Writing), Linguistics, Journalism, Communications, English Literature, or related field, preferred
