We are looking for a Global Brand Marketing Manager to join the team. This role will be a steward of the brand across influencer marketing, sustainability, activations, and global launches. The ideal candidate will have a beauty, wellness, fashion or retail background and the ability to be nimble and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment.

This is a critical, innovative, and strategic role for growing the 360 global COSTA BRAZIL business across DTC digital, physical, and wholesale. It reports to the VP, Marketing and Content, with a dotted line to the VP, brand development and sales.


    • Create differentiated, innovative and buzzworthy marketing campaigns and 360 content calendar alongside the VP
    • Establish strong relationships and assist in managing content for key retailer accounts
    • Have pulse on global brand and product innovations to maintain overall brand relevancy; use this knowledge to inform competitive product launch positioning
    • Develop disruptive ways of marketing new product across all social platforms and in-store initiatives
    • Assist in activation curation for new to market product and brand launch moments across all markets including global
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to execute global events, pop-ups, and partnerships
    • Develop the influencer marketing strategy alongside the Social Media lead and VP, Marketing and Content. Forge long-term meaningful relationships with media and influencers, effectively sharing best practices, tools and resources with global partners and agencies
    • Support the long-term influencer strategy with Social Media lead across all social platforms, channels and affiliate partnerships
    • Strategize influencer & marketing campaigns including brand and product-focused, ensuring alignment with cross-functional channels and global partners and maximizing upon campaign objectives and KPIs

    • Work with creative and marketing teams to ensure assets are maximized for global use across paid media, PR, site, email and retailer
    • Campaign Development & Execution-test new platforms, formats, and innovative marketing strategies to engage with influencers and drive sales and engagement; identify, define and execute disruptive Social, PR and Influencer strategies
    • Influencer Brief Creation - devise content briefs and own influencer campaigns so guidelines are clearly communicated and understood by all parties
    • Be the primary contact for all direct bookings agents & influencers; lead kick off calls before each campaign /production
    • Report on all global influencer campaigns, celebrity, PR, gifting, community and loyalist activations, creating post-mortem recaps and weekly reports; develop strategy using data to guide brand investments and own the tools/platforms needed to measure success (ROI, conversion, CPC, CTR, referral traffic, list growth, reach, impressions, engagement, sentiment, share of voice, product reviews) 
    • Develop materials needed for press, external partners/agencies/retailers and internal team members including one pagers, photography briefs, influencer content, quotes, seals
    • Be a prominent representative for the brand during PR-related activities
    • Manage strategic planning, day-to-day communication, and execution of activities with global PR agencies and external partners to drive increased brand awareness and high impact coverage in media supporting core brand pillars, brand campaigns, products, and new launches

    • Collaborate with Amyris sustainability team to align and execute on the company's ESG Report
    • Manage and communicate around the brand's mission and nonprofit partnerships including Conservation International
    • Develop and lead execution on innovative new sustainability partnerships

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
    • Passion for skincare / wellness beauty industry; understanding of clean beauty, biotech, and conservation efforts
    • Experience managing agencies and digital launches
    • Detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task and juggle shifting priorities
    • Strong project management skills with proven track record of delivering high quality work under tight timelines
    • Embraces start-up dynamics and thrives wearing many hats while meeting objectives and working collaboratively
    • Ability to identify the big ideas from the small ones and drive for results on the big ideas
    • Must demonstrate strong strategic, creative, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Team player who builds strong, effective partnerships
    • Team builder who develops and coaches team members to reach their own professional goals
    • Self-disciplined and motivated in a fast-paced environment that requires creativity and strong attention to detail
    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Experience with project management programs including Monday, Asana, Bynder
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in a beauty marketing role, experience with a startup or founder-led brand a plus
