Freelance Senior Copywriter

The team of dedicated creatives behind the label believe that, when it comes to building a sustainable brand, transparency and accountability are everything. From the fabrics OMNES uses to the factories it works with, every element of the supply chain is rigorously researched and monitored to make sure that each piece of clothing is produced ethically and to the highest environmental standards. We’re committed to minimising waste, using recycled or recyclable fabrics where possible, and meticulously assessing the impact of everything from buttons to packaging. 

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Copywriter to join our young and dynamic team. To be considered, you must have sharp copywriting skills and an acute understanding of digital sensibilities and best practices for social, email and content. You will be passionate sustainability advocate, who will act as custodian of the OMNES brand voice across all of our communications channels, maintaining our brand personality, and collaborating cross functionally within the business.  

Scope of work:

Assisting in the creation and the maintenance of the OMNES copy style guide  

Produce technically accurate, engaging copy across our social media platforms, newsletter, advertising, ecommerce and press materials, ensuring the OMNES voice remains consistent 

Produce product copy for the website, including category descriptions 

Working closely with the team to maintain and deliver copy on time 

Ensuring all work is filed, easily accessible and archived when required  

Ensuring all work is proofread, and error free 

Collaborate with the in-house team to ensure visual and written narrative is cohesive 

Requirements:  
 

Excellent written English, proofreading and grammar skills 

Ability to work quickly and efficiently with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail 

A highly organised individual able to prioritise, manage and deliver effective copy to deadline 

Computer literate and proficient in best practice SEO 

Writing samples demonstrating relevant work experience 

A sustainable fashion enthusiast highly desirable, but not essential
