We're looking for an Integrated Marketing Manager - Webinars to join our Global Demand Generation team. Integrated Marketing is a cross-functional team of marketers chartered to develop, drive and execute integrated, go-to-market strategies for our brand, solutions, and products. Your part in that mission will be to understand the needs of existing and prospective Shopify Plus merchants and along with our content and integrated marketing develop and execute an always-on webinar marketing strategy that helps them unlock the value of Shopify's products and services. You'll lead this programming in collaboration with content creators, marketing managers and subject matter experts to plan, commission and distribute content that improves the performance of our campaigns and always-on programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategy and program development: You'll be responsible for understanding our merchant needs, industry landscape and product roadmap. You'll be an expert at turning that information into insight to create an actionable, high-performance always-on webinar program (including content calendar, execution and distribution plan). Driving pipeline/acquisition and product growth,
  • Project management: You'll be accountable for developing the scope, resource plan and timeline associated with the programming calendar and managing each project from beginning to end.
  • Speaker management and content development: As part of each webinar's content you'll play a role in identifying and managing the best speakers and contributors. You'll also work alongside marketers and content managers to develop the content for each event.
  • Measurement and performance: You'll be responsible for working with stakeholders to set goals and key performance indicators for webinar events and then leverage tracking and tools to monitor and optimize for impact over time.
  • Distribution and campaign support: You'll collaborate closely with other marketing teams to establish and execute a distribution strategy, marketing campaigns to promote webinar programming targeting specific audiences.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing content and digital events/webinars for a B2B audience, bonus if you have experience in the ecommerce or retail space.
  • Proven experience executing a high-volume of digital events and webinars, including complex project management across multiple platforms, multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to think big picture, strategically to identify opportunities while going deep on execution details.
  • Working knowledge and experience with best-in-class digital event platforms and technology.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with a talent for distilling complex ideas into plain language in your briefs, strategies and program planning.
  • An expert in your discipline, with deep knowledge of audiences, channels, tools and high impact live or on-demand content formats.
  • Excels at turning data into strategic recommendations, and developing proprietary insights with custom data.
  • A knack for building streamlined processes for webinar marketing and knowing how to efficiently manage expectations-and prioritize your team's workload.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, etc.), workflow software (e.g Asana, Wrike), analytics software (e.g. Google Analytics, Bizible, etc.), and content management systems (e.g. Contentful).
  • The ability to work closely with product, marketing and data teams to report on the performance of your work, and to use those insights to improve content performance.
  • Adept at building high-trust relationships that make honest feedback conversations possible. Receives feedback with humility and grace.
  • Knows how to defend good ideas, without being defensive, and creates an environment that leads to good creative work.
  • Takes ownership of learning within their discipline, and educating stakeholders at every level of the business.
  • A passion for learning about your audience (our merchants), as well as a genuine interest in the commerce space.
