The Category and Content Marketing Manager - Beauty is responsible for all onsite category content. The role demands careful planning, precise briefing and reliable execution to meet Zalando’s commercial and inspirational targets.

  • Become as an expert for the Beauty category, demonstrating a full awareness of category OKRs, commercial goals, and key assortment topics
  • Create appealing, highly edited product selections to engage the customer in their shopping journey while driving sales KPI’s to maximise engagement and conversion.
  • Align with stakeholders in content distribution and adoption across various onsite and offsite channels, ensuring consistent communications and on-brand messaging
  • Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising & WGSN to identify key trends, brands, weekly trade and ensure visibility across studio & onsite planning
  • Support in executing the category marketing calendars and help to roll out trending content across multiple marketing channels .
    • e.g. Homepage, Editorial Shops (e.g. Lingerie, Plus Size) Brand highlight carousels and more specialist Content Placements.
  • Support the Lead and Marketing Manager across projects, ensuring consistent delivery against determined targets
  • Support the team with the execution and maintenance of cross-functional projects and business initiatives e.g. Cyber Week, Xmas Gifting Hub etc.

  • Experience (3+ years) in marketing with a proven track record in planning, briefing and execution for both commercial and editorial content
  • Experience within fashion and/or beauty and a keen eye for trends and thorough industry knowledge
  • Experience working on creative development projects and working with creative teams
  • Sense of ownership and responsibility, innovation, and attention to detail are required
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to communicate and negotiate with various stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (fluently) both verbal and written
  • Excellent computer literacy and eager to learn and grow
