About the role
Join our talented Operations Tribe to work in one of our feature teams, the Warehouse Squad.
As a Technical Leader, you will be a part of the WAR Squad, the feature team is composed of backend developers, frontend developers, QA, Product Owner and you as Technical Leader.
You will join us to technically manage the team, following the agile method, and migrate the old monolith platform into new microservices architecture to help us scale and serve millions of users around the world.
The main goal is to extract the old monolith backoffice tools of the Warehouse into the new backoffice using microservices with best practices, Domain Driven Design and hexagonal architecture.
What you'll do
- Make technical decisions, build the architecture of new projects, and make the links with the product and the business.
- Actively contributing to all feature development stages: exploration, design, implementation, test, integration, monitoring, alerting.
- Collaborating with tech teams across the company to champion our mid- & long-term technical strategy in an agile environment.
- Coaching and mentoring other team members, encouraging knowledge exchange, and driving technical discussions across the tech organization
Who you are
- You have at least a 3 years experience as a Technical Leader, Lead Developer or Technical Manager position.
- You love web technologies and you are able to learn by yourself
- You can lead technical architecture discussions and help drive technical decisions.
- Seasoned PHP developer with strong notions in some of Symfony, Swagger, GitLab, GitLabCI, Docker. You also have expertise in integrating tools and providers into a custom platform.
- You can analyze the big picture, implement and prove your solution is great.
- You do not need to be micromanaged; to accomplish team and company goals, you can wear multiple hats and quickly learn new technologies and languages.
- You have a strong business sensitivity and understand the importance of delivering values to the end-users.
- Problem solver with great communication skills, a positive attitude, a team spirit and empathy.
- Computer science degree or equivalent work experience.
- Great knowledge of how to work in an agile organization is required!
- You need to be able to defend your technical choice in English and French.
