As our Pricing Analytics Manager you will deliver insights using primarily quantitative data to support our merchandising business. You will partner closely with pricing, category management, product, engineering, and finance teams working with nearly all aspects of our growing company. Your mission is to provide clarity of business performance, identify growth opportunity, measure pricing effectiveness, and drive alignment to focus on the most impactful areas for our company. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to complete enterprise scale analyses mostly independently.

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Measure pricing impact on both demand and supply.  For major systematic changes, we heavily rely on experimentation to assess the impact.  We also adjust pricing tactics in real time to achieve the business target.  You will define success metrics, synthesize performance data or analyze testing data to publish performance reports, and thus find opportunities for improvements 
  • Lead pricing analytics. You will be the go-to person for the business to seek analytics support for the entire end to end flow
  • Support our pricing strategy. You will partner with business owners to define strategy and align analytics resources to ensure the implementation of the strategy and its success
  • Become the knowledge center. You will manage your learning agenda to identify and gather relevant data, accumulate insights, and provide recommendations for operational excellence

What You Bring To The Role
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics that is focused on first-party data
  • 3+ years of experience in business analytics  
  • Proven track record of owning and defining framework for domain analytics 
  • Expert in query languages such as SQL
  • Strong experience with designing, implementing, providing and interpreting results of A/B testing or causal inference models
  • Proven ability of delivering high complexity analytics projects involving methodology development, analysis, strategic recommendations, and presentation of the findings
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in two-sided marketplace highly preferred
