POSITION SUMMARY:

Working with Global, Regional and Local Marketing Teams, as well as key stakeholders in our organization, you will have full oversight of creative developments across every Marketing touchpoint in our region.You will spearhead conceptual ideas, content generation, and ensure all consumer-facing visuals are up to the highest standards with internal and external partners. Guiding projects from initial concept stages to execution and roll-out, always putting social, digital and video at the center of everything we do.

You'll be a brand guardian, upholding the seasonal campaign direction, set by our global team. You'll convey the brand vision and ensure the visual aesthetic and tone-of-voice are consistently communicated across all touch points.

The scope of work is varied and you'll come with ideas that could live anywhere. Our work includes everything from digital content, email marketing and website design to retail promotions, 3-D window and in-store displays, fashion look book shoots including video and visual brand identity. We also work on internal communications, press kits, invites and events, special projects and corporate videos. We support B2B with creative content for trade shows/events and inspiring sales tools for our wholesale customers.

Digital marketing is an integral part of our daily work.You'll bring a strong editorial sensibility to the nuts and bolts of online retail and an understanding of how the marriage of content and commerce applies to all channels, including social media.

For this role, you'll be part mentor, part collaborator, part autonomous. With an entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative approach, you'll eloquently present creative ideas, navigate work and feedback through a complex approval process, and remain open to others' ideas. You'll enjoy mentoring others, sharing knowledge and best practices across the teams and strive to continually improve work on both an aesthetic and functional level.In short, you're somebody even experienced Creative's can learn from, and you're open-minded to learn from others too.

You'll be adapt at balancing - making sure creative goals and business needs are met, being respectful of budgets and meeting the almighty deadline.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Creative Strategy
    Oversee Regional Content Hub that drives innovative, effective strategies and liaise with different partners to contribute business growth for the company.
    • Art Director: Advises and makes recommendations to Art Director in the preparation of creative services and production budget
    • E-commerce: Establish and maintain uniform and efficient e-commerce platform: site creation; promotion eblast; O2O projects; PDP shooting production
    • Retail Marketing operation: Marketing activations support; GWP development; Retail packaging development; seasonal lookbook shooting & production
    • VM: Seasonal Campaign in-store visual support
    • Retail Operations and Communication Training: Develop all the seasonal training materials
    • Merchandising & Sourcing: product trims or special packaging support

  • Operational efficiency
    • Find efficiencies across the region with regional resonating celebrities and collaborative partners
    • Identifies and drives operational efficiencies in the creative process to improve speed to market and to meet project and team needs.
    • Responsible for all production budgets and communicate status to the overall creative production process through the research, evaluation, negotiation, scheduling and booking of photographers, stylists, prop stylists, hair and makeup artists.
    • Manage approval process for creative assets: including the approval of copy, layouts, final artwork, retouching, proofs and printed samples.
    • Inform and provide production solutions to requesting parties if project timelines or budgets require revisions.
    • Drives constant process improvements.

    • Supports the development & interpretation of marketing objectives and all brand visual materials to maintain the good consistent brand image.
    • Makes proactive and relevant insights & action recommendations to the creative & production team and between the creative & production team and other parties.

    • Works to unlock the potential of each member in region and markets
    • Develops the staff through providing consistent feedback, identifiying with staff developmental opportunities and helps them to work toward their goals.
    • Ensure the creative and production team to follow all company policies, procedures and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
    • Manages all production relationships with outside vendors to ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
    • Set strategies surrounding workflow procedures and quality control.
    • Monitor and maintain quality standards for all creative & production department outputs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience, with at least 5 years' working within an editorial environment, in-house Agency team or creative Agency, working with fashion, luxury or lifestyle brands.

    Education:
  • Degree in a creative field such as graphic/digital design, fine arts, visual communication, art direction, film, fashion or journalism.

    Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal skill as a team member
  • Good proficiency of written and spoken of English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Excellent proficiency in MS office applications
Good ability to prioritize and multi-tasking
