The Department

The Finance Hub within PVH Europe supports the company in achieving its short and long-term financial and strategic targets. The Hub comprises of the following disciplines: FP&A/ Central Controlling, Financial Reporting, Financial Ops & Risk, Shared Service Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Credit Control, Procurement, Legal; and the newly created Strategic Finance.

The Team

The external landscape is constantly changing and so are the information needs of the company. The introduction of our Vision 2025 and long-term strategy result in changes for the Finance Hub and call for a more strategic stance going forward.
Additionally, the ongoing Digitalization, Process improvement and Globalization require that we reset our long-term view of the Finance function and the processes it supports.

Next to the traditional roles in the Finance Hub, we are setting up a new team, the Strategic Finance team in order to support us to navigate through the required changes. The main objective of this newly created team is to:
  • Strengthen the alignment between Strategy and Finance
  • Support to reset the long term view of the Finance function, processes and deliverables with the aim to maximize efficiencies and drive business value
The Position

This is a newly created role, in a newly created team; therefore, entrepreneurial mindset is key.

We are looking for an experienced professional to support us to strengthen and manage the annual strategic/ financial planning process and align the organization accordingly. In this context, the successful candidate will work closely with the Business, our Controlling team and our head office in New York; acting as liaison but also as advisor, ensuring that our plans reflect the right thinking and level of detail based on the company's strategy and market environment.

She/ he will support us to realize our Vision 2025 by focusing on Value related topics; such as rethinking success metrics and developing a solid performance management framework.

In addition, she/he will support us to future-proof the Finance function by supporting with the development and implementation of the long-term Finance strategic transformation program, promoting clear direction and focus areas for the coming years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen and manage the annual strategic financial planning process, in accordance with the needs of our long-term strategy; organize all stakeholders on required calendar and outputs
  • Support with design and implementation of long-term strategic transformation program for Finance, in close collaboration with Sr. Finance leaders
  • Act as change agent to drive the Finance strategic transformation program with the key stakeholders involved
  • Define targets for strategic priorities, set-up and implement tracking against- in close collaboration with Project Management Office
  • Drive various projects relevant to finance and strategy

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Consulting, Transformation, Finance roles
  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a technical study
  • Strategic thinking and strategic planning capabilities
  • Experience in transformation programs
  • Strong understanding of the Finance function and operation models
  • Highly analytical with strong problem solving skills; project management skills
  • Flexible and self-starter; Strong communicator with experience in engaging with senior leaders
