POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for store development and procurement function across the Region.

Ensure store projects are completed on time, within budget and with brand standard.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
  • Budget control and spending forecast for store project roll outs.
  • Assist in setting up strategies for procurement and project management function.
  • Research for new suppliers & contractors and manage material sourcing / approval across the region.
  • Manage material suppliers, fixture, mock up and build out contractors for the region.
  • Value engineering / cost effective solutions development for store build outs of all design concepts.
  • Project management for store projects to ensure time, cost and quality compliance.
  • Ensure store build out & fit out complying with global guidelines, meeting the brand standard and markets' budget.
  • Tran the trainers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage office/showroom projects.

CREATIVITY: Interest in trends, lifestyle and design. Support introduction of new ideas. Able to work within the creative process effectively and support in bringing new ideas/innovations to realization. Develop store types to suit local markets' needs and create value engineered solutions to meet store build out budget while maintaining the brand standard.

TEAMWORK: Build good working relationships. Collaborate toward deadlines, targets and deliverables. Able to communicate effectively across the team and organization. Effectively work at long distance. Must be a team player.

ORGANIZING: Must be a very organized and detail oriented individual. Work according to defined schedules and deadlines. Take direction well and able to work with high accountability. Manage own work and track progress. Seek resources to get things well done. Able to be multi-tasking and adapt to changing priorities. Willing to learn.

ENVIRONMENT: Work in fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Interface with both Global and Local teams. Ability to create a fun and cheerful work environment is a plus.

Asia Pacific travel and periodic international travel will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience: 5 year relevant experience in retail lifestyle, ready-to-wear and accessories store projects.
  • Education: University graduate in architecture, project management or interior design.

SKILLS:
  • Hands on experience in computerized graphic drawing, eg. AutoCAD.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and systematically managing a number of concurrent projects.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, teamwork and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to work and manage independently with strong initiative on multiple projects simultaneously with short timelines.
  • Good experience in site work supervision.
  • Resourceful and familiarity with local practices.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin. Cantonese is a plus.
