Division Description:

TH LAB is the division that is focused on creating the most exciting collaborations with external brands in order to create capsules that are celebrating the DNA of the brand while shaping something exciting and new that would not have been possible without the external brand partners.

Position Description and responsibilities:

The Merchandising Manager within TH Lab is responsible for working with the key stakeholders internally (Design - Development - Buying & Planning - Marketing) and externally (Market Sales) on building the best possible product range and go to market strategy for each capsule while managing the relationship with the collaboration partner.

The Merchandising Manager within TH Lab will report into the Senior Director LAB and will manage the LAB coordinator.

Expectations from the division
  • Establish a close working relationship with the internal and external partners while taking on the central role within every collaboration.
  • Translate the long-term business objectives of the division into a TH LAB calendar each year to improve Brand awareness.
  • Dimensionalize the LAB distribution thru a segmentation & allocation strategy while aiming to stretch up into a distribution that will act as a halo for the overall Brand.
  • Drive conversations with external brands and manage the collaboration process end to end
  • Together with the LAB coordinator, create effective and continues oversight on the complete process of each collaboration.
  • Work closely with each Market Sales team to sell in every collaboration and to execute the LAB strategy.
  • Manage the Range set up and pricing of each collection in close collaboration with Design and Development
  • Be the internal go to person for everything and all collaboration related.
  • Develop a constant flow of Analysis back into the division by gathering and providing feedback on distribution development, Marketplace mapping, consumer buying behavior, trends and sell out data.
  • Ensure a clear and consistent information flow across all directions internally.

  • Minimal 6-8 years' experience in Sales or Merchandising, Product or Brand management within an International operating apparel or footwear brand or wholesaler.
  • A sharp understanding of the current streetwear & fashion market and the development in regards to 'Hype' Footwear and Apparel
  • Excellent analytic and planning skills
