About the Role

A leadership position that requires the individual to be a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with exceptional strategic thinking, communication and technical skills. Position is Responsible for leading brand creative operations team, synchronizing activities across various brand functions to insure effective implementation of brand strategies and defining Athleta's integration points with other cross-functional partners and brand divisions. Additional responsibilities include development of processes and implementation of programs to insure delivery of brand creative strategic business plans. Individual must have strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure cross functional commitments are met.

What You'll Do

  • Facilitates brand Creative processes
  • Leads or partners with operations teams imbedded throughout the organization to integrate and optimize processes
  • Provide strategic thinking related to project content as well as providing process leadership
  • Responsible for partnering with other cross functional partners to develop creative operating calendar including all cross functional timelines necessary to run the creative process.
  • Provides direction and structure for creative operating functions
  • Develop and execute creative meetings by partnering with cross functional teams (including merchandising, marketing, events, and visual) to influence decision- making, gain team alignment and to achieve on-time execution of business decisions
  • Determine opportunities with the current operating structure / processes and recommend ideas for improvement
  • Lead Creative Technology and Tools initiatives that support the creative team


Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field, MBA and / or consulting experience a plus
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of project management experience preferably in a multi-channel retail environment with experience including projects related to business growth and process improvement
  • Must be highly organized and have proven success rate in medium to large projects from inception through implementation, in roles of planner, developer, coordinator and execution
  • Proven strategic, analytical & creative thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Professional applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher
  • Familiar with Smartsheet, Adobe In Design, Photo Shop, Illustrator and Adobe Experience Manager a plus
