About the Role

The RL&P - Insights and Analytics team is responsible for driving data driven insights and strategies for our loyalty program and its members across the Gap Inc. family of brands, inclusive of:
- forecasting and hind sighting loyalty marketing campaigns and customer segment performance
- monitoring campaign, customer and program KPIs
- creating dashboards, reports and tools that enable more data driven insights and decision
- identifying trends and opportunities to drive member migration and program performance

This role will report into the Director, Analytics & Insights and lead the team focused on customer and program insights and analytics; it is a high profile role that will work extensively with cross functional business partners to enable data driven insights and actionable strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for monitoring total loyalty program health KPIs and identifying strategic opportunities by customer segment and brand to drive loyalty member engagement, sales and revenue growth by brand and in aggregate for the portfolio
  • Manage monthly loyalty customer and sales forecast in partnership with RL&P Brand Card & Loyalty team members
  • Perform complex analyses, incorporating cross brand insights to support loyalty initiatives
  • Partner with the Data & Analytics team to identify testing strategies, including the definition of test and control groups and KPIs for on-going L&P initiatives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders while leveraging customer and financial data to build a story and define actionable strategies
  • Evolve practices for reporting KPIs that better identify customer level-insights to help define loyalty tiering and drive deeper segmentation


Who You Are

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in analytics or similar area; preferably has experience with loyalty programs, credit cards, multi-channel marketing and/or omni-channel retail
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize large, complex data sets with qualitative data to develop actionable, strategies that align with business objectives
  • Strong written, oral and formal presentation communication skills; able to actively participate and influence discussions and decision making across functions
  • Possesses project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Advanced command of reporting and BI tools: advanced Excel, Essbase, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, NOVA, Venus, SQL a plus
  • Has prior experience managing and developing direct report(s)
  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA a plus
