About the Role

Flagship Visual Market Manager manages brand execution within Flagship Stores in assigned market. Their responsibility is to act as a resource, trainer and communicator of information to manage Flagship brand consistency. The VMM is responsible for facilitating training sessions and development of store leadership who perform merchandise presentation functions in their Flagship stores. The VMM is responsible for communicating global messages regarding brand merchandising strategies and initiatives in Flagship market.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure brand and merchandise presentation consistency is upheld in the market.
  • Provide clarification and direction to the Flagship market regarding presentation/product and Brand initiatives.
  • Collect feedback and offer future recommendations regarding Flagship presentation and marketing initiatives.
  • Reinforce Brand Standards and the use of best practices consistently throughout the Flagship market.
  • Partner with RD/SVM/Store on business growth opportunities in order to develop Flagship store strategies.
  • Identify specific Flagship issues and develop solutions that have the potential to impact earnings using brand filters to drive sales and margin.
  • Provide support and specialist insight to HQ/SVM in order to maximize business profitability.
  • Partner in all remodel activity within the flagship locations.
  • Responsible for the execution of growth initiatives within assigned Flagship Stores.
  • Manage Travel Budget to ensure effective use of finance.
  • In partnership with RD/SVM, reinforce how company goals and objectives at the region and Flagship level relate to product and merchandise presentation.
  • Facilitate seasonal Flagship presentation workshops, meetings and conference calls.
  • Ensure that the Store Director, Merchandise Presentation Managers/Supervisors and Visual Specialists understand Flagship merchandising strategies and the seasonal key messages of each flow.
  • Communicate with SVM, Store Directors, VMM's and HQ to share Flagship creative ideas and best practices globally.
  • Deliver seasonal hind sights relating to product/presentation through Flagship visual process with HQ teams to influence upcoming ideas.
  • Effectively influence Field partners to uphold the brand vision.
  • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating Merchandise Presentation Excellence modules to Flagship Managers.
  • Responsible for scheduled follow up on maintaining MPE development.
  • Build constructive, effective partnerships throughout the region, market and headquarters.
  • Manage and ensure consistent training and development in market, in order to increase Bench Strength for the Field Visual Team.
  • Provides stakeholder feedback in order to make performance succession recommendations within the Field Visual Organization.


Who You Are

  • Minimum four years retail visual management experience in high profile, high level multi store capacity or equivalent
  • Ability to understand, interpret and adapt merchandise presentation direction
  • Strong merchandise presentation skills that can support high profile, high volume, multi-level stores
  • High level of leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in motivating and influencing others
  • Proven ability to train others and retain talent
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize
  • Competition and industry aware
  • Strong influencing, problem analysis and decision making skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, MAC) and digital camera skills
