About the Role

Responsible for Old Navy Marketing Digital Tech work including on-set as well as in-office management of technical specs for photography.

What You'll Do

PHOTO DIGITAL TECHNICIAN
  • Owns assigned DT communications for marketing shoots.
  • Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including studio, location, office or remote
  • Partnership with asset management for metadata & archiving
  • Hard drive management for shoots and backups
  • On-set owner of DT responsibilities (oversees remotely when several sets are running concurrently, with an approved on-set DT executing) *
  • Partners with Creative team to support final edits
  • Set color curves for retouching (backgrounds, color saturation, etc)
  • Studio assist when needed, aka an extra pair of hands*

GENERAL DUTIES
  • Upload, organize, and sort
  • Apply color curvature and processing out RAW images.
  • Metadata-tagging (including, but not limited to date shot, season, placements, usage, launch dates)
  • Hard drive recipient for shoot and backups
  • File export management for all channels
  • Reconciliation of unplanned shots

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
  • Digital Asset Manager, Photo Producers, Photo Art Director, Product Team, Photo Account Manager and Photographer
  • Existing Digital Tech Team


Who You Are

  • Highly organized, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Ability to interpret nuanced color palette
  • Thrive in high-volume, fast-paced team environment.
  • Proactive, outside-the-box thinker who can anticipate roadblocks and address them
  • Proficient in Capture One, Photoshop and Bridge Applications
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible with a sense of humor
  • 1-2 years hands-on experience or in a comparable or relevant role
  • Experience with AEM (or similar DAM tools) Global Edit, Box, and Airtable
