Job Details
As Ready-to-Wear Production Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process and supply chain for ready-to-wear collections. You will work closely with the design and development team and liaise with manufacturing partners and suppliers to deliver high quality products each season. The role is based in our studio in London with regular travel to Europe as required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage production for all Rejina Pyo ready-to-wear collections
- Implement and oversee a detailed production critical path timetable for ready-to-wear collections working closely with manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure deadlines are met
- Work with the design & development and sales teams to ensure accurate and appropriate costing of ready-to-wear products
- Work closely with the design and development team to ensure tech packs are accurate and clear and are sent to manufacturers on time
- Coordinate production fittings and ensure tech packs are updated and finalised with manufacturers
- Maintain regular communications with factories and suppliers and update production and delivery timelines weekly
- Negotiate and agree prices and delivery dates with manufacturing partners
- Ensure all POs are correct and communicated to vendors by the date agreed
- Oversee quality control and ensure required standards are met each season
- Work with the sales and logistics teams to ensure orders are delivered on time
- Communicate all production quality, cost or timing issues to the design and development and sales teams and identify best solutions
- Maintain good relationships with key manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure long term supply chain stability
- Source and develop relationships with new suppliers aligned with the company’s social and environmental values
- Visit existing and new European factories and suppliers in person as required
- Review, assess and improve processes and ways of working with manufacturers and suppliers
Skills and Experience
- At least 3 years in a similar role within a womenswear fashion business
- Significant experience with luxury fashion production
- Detailed knowledge of women’s fashion and an ability to understand the brand’s design aesthetic
- Excellent technical knowledge of production methods, manufacturing processes and associated costs
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills
- Excellent eye for detail and analytical skills
- A proactive and can-do approach
- Fluent English language skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Uphance and Monday is desirable
