Job Details

ZIMMERMANN is currently seeking a Wholesale Operations Assistant, US to join our Wholesale Operations team.

Based in our New York Head Office and reporting to our Wholesale Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for assisting in the administration and dispatch of all Zimmermann wholesale product.

The successful candidates' responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the US sales team during market
  • Cross checking seasonal orders to ensure accuracy for production
  • Reconciling Sales batches for the Americas
  • Generating and distributing order confirmations to specialty customers
  • Working collaboratively with the Wholesale Operations and 3PL warehouse teams to ensure order deadlines are met
  • Uploading incoming order information to US 3PL
  • Monitoring order status and issuing of Proforma Invoices to specialty Wholesale accounts
  • Monitoring customer payments and control of order release from 3PL warehouse
  • Overseeing final mile delivery from warehouse to customer
  • Maintenance of the seasonal delivery schedules and open order reports
  • Monitoring, tracking and follow-up of seasonal recuts/inventory reorders
  • 3pl stock coordination – resolving stock issues at 3PL
  • Providing accurate and updated information regarding order status’ to US sales team
  • Assisting the Wholesale Operations Manager with EDI processes for Majors shipments
  • Issuing of return authorization numbers to wholesale customers
  • Generating credit notes for returned stock
  • Management of inventory reports
  • Assisting with the movement of end of season stock

Additional requirements:

  • Team player and problem solver in a demanding deadline driven environment
  • Motivated, proactive, and highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of the relevant functions of AP21 or equivalent ERP system
  • A thorough knowledge of MS Excel
