Job Details
Carhartt WIP USA seeks an Wholesale Operations Associate to work in its New York showroom. In this role you will support the Wholesale Manager in the back-office operations of its US Men’s, Women’s, and Accessories wholesale businesses. This job requires technical knowledge and experience in systems and operations related to the business.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide clients with accurate seasonal product attribute data.
- Maintain and operate B2B client portal.
- Liaise with 3PL to monitor status of pending outgoing shipments.
- Check and report on the status of pick tickets in WMS.
- Assure accuracy of EDI transmissions.
- Interpret client routing guides to ensure best practices are being followed.
- Monitor Available to Sell (ATS) inventory to ensure correct product receivings and unit allocations
- Place seasonal polybag ticket and hangtag label orders for select major retailers
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-year experience working in a contemporary apparel showroom.
- Knowledge of Carhartt WIP’s market, competitors, and clients.
- Above average communication skills and strong organizational skills.
- Experience operating B2B sales portal. Experience with Shopify, NuOrder, Joor or similar a plus.
- Above average comprehension and experience using back-end system software including but not limited to RLM, WMS, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics Navision, EDI, OpenText/GXS required.
- Logistics experience working through a 3PL provider is required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Table functions required.
- Comfortability handling large data sets required.
- Experience with routing guides and familiarity with shipping/receiving processes of large retailers is a plus.
