Digital Retail is the core of HUGO BOSS eCommerce activities. We ensure that hugoboss.com is a class-leading website, inspiring our customers and easily helping them to buy their HUGO BOSS products. To strengthen our continuously growing department we are looking for a Head of Merchandise Management (m/f/d).

What you can expect:
  • Develop an overall operations strategy supporting business scalability to deliver world class eCommerce solutions & optimize B2C initiatives
  • Strategic direction to planners for all KPI benchmarks and signs off responsibility for all NOS and seasonal targets
  • Drive innovation and best practice onsite, especially in the context of navigation, internal search and product placements
  • Steering of all relevant eCommerce merchandise projects, including projectlead and allocation within the team
  • Development of product assortment over all platforms based on the costumer demand, efficent stock handling and pricemanagement
  • Owner of the continues improvement of the MCM tool and ressource allocation with a cross functional team
  • Establish weekly reporting packages as well as trading meetings, in order to reflect on the past performance and to identify missed opportunities and future action steps
  • Drives AI integration into planning processes and In-Season management
  • Determine actionable items from data analytics and customer feedback to launch upgraded/improved project versions
  • Employee management and development coordination of the team as well as structural & psychological empowerment of employees


Your profile:
  • Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent
  • More than 10 years of experience in eCommerce/retail industry
  • Familiar with: PIM, CMS, Demandware/Hybris (eCommerce platforms), SAP, UX/UI and product development cycle
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • High analytical skills - able to understand and draw conclusions from data
  • Organizational skills, good time management, and clear and concise communication
  • High sense of responsibility as well as distinct sociability and presentation skills
  • Understanding of Fashion market and competitive landscape
  • Proven leaderships skills and willing approach to change
