JOB SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Tory Burch Materials Assistant you are fulfilling the administrative activities required of the Raw Materials team, working with both leather and textile Managers in NY, China and Brazil. Reports to the leather manager in NY.
  • Schedules, tracks, and reports on all requested materials- inspirational, proto, and other
  • Color Standard Management:
    • Distribute, track, and receive color standards and lab dips for seasonal color palette. Data management in PLM.
    • Submit new color standards to vendors and country office
    • Validate carryover color standards against color library for accuracy and continuity
    • Working with internal partners to pull standards as requested. Provide external partners with approved standards.
    • Review and approve lab dips in the development stage (in partnership with associate, and with exception sign off from manager)
    • Color Standard "Masters" Library and Chart maintenance (daily) following color change memo updates
  • Pre-Production- Maintains and issues all approved standards (quality, colors, color window/acceptable variation) to suppliers and shoe factories
  • Contributes to counting department KPI's - development and adoption counts
  • Maintains records and swatches of liabilities
  • Supplier Color Card library maintenance, pull for design
  • Update Liability quantities regularly
  • Shipping, tracking and receiving
  • PLM maintenance


EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
  • BS/BA/BFA degree
  • Strong collaborative, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fluid, fast-paced, multi-channel environment.
