As a Product Innovation Strategy & Marketing Manager (m/w/d), you will seek to innovate and optimize the products and services we provide to our partners in an efficient and scalable way. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that innovations are "heard" and have the necessary recognition in the market and at partner-level.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Product and innovation marketing: Ensure that innovations are properly "sold" to partners; generate excitement for the Connected Retail product offering.
  • Market research/ benchmarking: Understand market trends, current positioning, competitive head- and tail-winds and devise conclusions on the potential of outperforming competitors with the Connected Retail value proposition.
  • Innovation management: Work cross-functionally and manage stakeholders across different levels of seniority by supporting the Product and Partner Consulting teams in defining the product opportunity field based on market trends.
  • Inhouse innovation: Facilitate and run internal ideation activities such as workshops and campaigns.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Strategic thinking: you understand the value that continuously improving and optimizing partner services and products brings to the overall Connected Retail business (both from a business model and financial perspective); you are able able to provide a structured approach on how to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Communication and go-to-market skills: you are personable, approachable and obsessed with finding ways to drive the adoption rate of products/ innovations - ideally, by communicating over different types of media; prior experience in Product Marketing for an e-commerce or SaaS company would be beneficial.
  • Teamwork and stakeholder management: you are able to work with multiple stakeholders across levels and teams (both internal and external) in a collaborative way; you are able to generate excitement and buzz about innovation - ideally, by applying different innovation methods and tools.
  • Research and analysis: you are able to independently conduct benchmarkings, and capture as well as synthesize information from multiple sources to come up with a convincing communication format for our value proposition; you are comfortable operating independently and dealing with numbers and, ideally, have prior experience in conducting research initiatives in e-commerce or SaaS companies.
