Job Overview:

The SEO Content Coordinator will help expand the Organic reach for Bloomingdale's digital properties. The coordinator will work closely with the SEO Analysts and leadership, vendor partners and other stakeholders to get optimizations created and implemented on Bloomingdale's sites. The coordinator will be involved in the creation of content across many different verticals and families of business. Direct involvement with business priorities across all page types including editorial articles, category pages, product pages, local pages, etc. This role will support the complete cycle of content development.

Essential Functions:
  • Website content creation and edit capabilities. Implement optimization on landing pages and optimize content and page relationships. Track impact of content work to support the success of online business.
  • Conduct keyword research
  • Strategic Search Engine Optimization including canonicals, redirects, internal links, different types of meta tags, site structure and HTML/JS.
  • Follow Bloomingdale's Content Process, utilizing appropriate tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEMRush.

Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
  • 1-2 years related experience
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical reasoning skills. Prominent financial acumen and analytical ability
  • Strong edit and copywriting skills
  • Understanding of websites, text editors and spreadsheet creation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs

Physical Requirements:
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing
  • Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talking
  • Continuous use of computers and other office equipment
  • Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
