The Team

The Ecommerce (Ecom) Team is responsible for managing the European own and operated tommy.com and calvinklein.com sites across all European markets. The team operates all necessary functions to manage the Ecom business end-to-end. Both brands are growing at a rapid pace and have ambitious growth targets for the coming years. The team is 150+ people strong and will continue to grow significantly. Our team consists of highly motivated and skilled professionals from various cultural backgrounds and nationalities, making it an inspiring environment to work in.

As the own and operated Ecom business is one of the main growth opportunities for both brands, there is a high focus in the organization to support the Ecom expansion. We are currently looking for a Manager of Ecommerce Strategy & Growth to help support those objectives.

The Position

The Manager, Ecommerce Strategy & Growth will work across the Ecommerce organization to drive strategic planning and assess opportunities for growth across 27 European locales. This role supports both tommy.com and calvinklein.com and will own the organization's long range strategic roadmap and support on strategic projects across a variety of topics.

This is a highly visible role which will require the applicant to interact with senior stakeholders within and beyond the ecommerce organization on a regular basis. He/she will need to come with a clear point of view and be able to effectively communicate, challenge and obtain buy-in with various stakeholders. Day to day, he/she will need to balance managing several projects and multi-disciplinary teams, driving initiatives from inception to completion. This role is also key in driving a customer focused / data driven decision making culture.

The Ecommerce organization is a fast growing, dynamic team. As the industry and company moves towards digital models and direct to consumer strategies, a high performing individual in this position will have attractive opportunities to develop and progress within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own strategy development process and long range strategic plan for both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein ecommerce businesses across 27 European locales
  • Support tracking of business performance and execution of initiatives against strategic objectives
  • Act as key thought-partner for Ecommerce team leads as they develop digital innovation roadmaps / initiatives aimed at constantly improving consumer experience
  • Lead and support senior executive communications: strategy reviews, long range growth plan, monthly business performance reporting, with the support of junior team members
  • Facilitate strategic roadmap and OKR development across the organization, regularly interacting with Ecommerce leadership team
  • Plan, execute and control ad hoc strategic projects with strong analytical focus and understanding of consumer-centricity
  • Build business cases, analyze findings, frame challenges, and provide options for consideration and recommendations for resolution through analysis
  • Engage in individual market/country support and own localization strategies as relevant
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, forging best practices and improving the team's effectiveness and efficiency

The Ideal Candidate:
  • You have about 4-6 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 of those working in management consulting
  • Experience in strategy consulting (growth strategy, strategic planning, project management, change management, project planning)
  • Highly analytical and quantitative, with an ability to pivot from strategic to operational problem solving across a wide variety of topics
  • Experience owning/driving projects to completion in an autonomous way
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present with clarity and conciseness to senior audiences within and beyond the Ecommerce team
  • Motivated self-starter; able to work autonomously, structuring your own work and work for junior team members
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to thrive in an international matrixed organization
  • Results driven and people focused, with experience managing small project teams and a passion to mentor and coach
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Business-level English
  • Experience in retail/FMCG and/or ecommerce is a plus
