POSITION SUMMARY:

The of role Manager, Compensation and Benefits (GOC) is to support the Senior Director, C&B and Admin to manage and oversee the execution of payroll and tax processing for Asia Commercial market. This role will be able to achieve an excellent operational excellence for the compensation and benefits function and ensure the HR compliance requirements are met.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Lead the checking and auditing for all the payroll and tax processing across Asia commercial markets, with Hong Kong as pilot
  • Partner with the payroll vendors and HR teams to ensure smooth payroll service delivery
  • Develop the payroll and tax policies and procedures in strict accordance with relevant statutory requirements across Asia commercial markets
  • Review the existing process periodically and recommend the changes for streamline the process
  • Provide the problem resolutions of payroll and tax issues and ensure approximate and timely escalation as required
  • Maintains the various HRIS, payroll system and records with a good accuracy
  • Prepare HR reports on human resources activities and initiatives to the business head, region and headquarters as required
  • Support in other local, regional and global HR specific projects as assigned
  • Supervise and coach the team member to ensure the delivery in high quality

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience in the field of HR or fast-paced environment (preferably in an international organization and fashion or retail industry)
  • Experience in Payroll process is a must; knowledge for payroll for Asian countries is a plus
  • Well-versed with HR employee ordinance for Asian countries is a plus

    Education:
  • University degree in Human Resources or equivalent

    Skills:
  • High accuracy
  • Mature, independent, well-organized, a self-starter with enthusiasm and initiative
  • Be able to work under tight timeline and multi-tasking
  • English fluent (written and oral)
  • MS-Office skills, Workday experience highly preferred
  • Customer oriented, approachable and strong interpersonal skills
  • Be flexible to work in a dynamic environment
