JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead our Product Relevancy Strategy for all our DTC platforms. You will be responsible for defining, assessing, and continuously evolving search, ranking, personalization, and recommendations. In this role, you will enable our customers to discover the products they are looking for quickly and without friction while ensuring the customer is always inspired by our product and our brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and articulate global Product Relevancy strategy and roadmap that touches multiple channels and platforms.
  • Lead ideation, requirement gathering, and launch of digital products that enable customers to frictionlessly discover the products they are looking for.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Merchandising, Data Science, Technology, Personalisation, and International Product teams, to gather, review, and prioritize initiatives and establish requirements.
  • Translate roadmap initiatives into digestible backlogs with clear prioritization among features.
  • Conduct user research and competitive benchmarking to better understand and optimize our services.
  • Critically assess existing capabilities to understand build vs. buy approach.
  • Define, monitor, and assess product initiatives through clear KPI's; institute tight learning loops with business and technology teams via a test and learn approach to continually inform service development.
  • Drive AB experimentation programme to assess the potential impact of new product relevancy models on customers' needs.
  • Launch and phase solutions utilizing agile methodologies to build internal efficiencies and scalable technology development.


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Previous Product Management experience; eCommerce desirable. Platforms or service related or top tech company experience is a plus.
  • Experience with agile development teams and workflows within JIRA, Confluence or similar systems; off shore development team experience is a plus.
  • Experience of analysing data and data-driven storytelling.
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities, thinking critically about size of prize and feasibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable actively working with engineers and participating in technical discussions.
  • Ability to be result-oriented and biased towards action, follow up on responsibilities independently and have a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly, be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Self-starter with bias towards MVP delivery that aligns with longer term product vision.
  • Any of the following knowledge/experiences is preferred:
    • Product curation: product labelling systems, product information management, content management system, product quality management systems.
    • Data: tracking, data pipeline, data marts, data lakes, data tools and experimentations.
  • Demonstrated ownership over a data product in a previous role, including responsibilities for strategy, KPI setup, goal-setting and roadmap.
