JOB PURPOSE

Collate, maintain & distribute all reports, manage Qualimaster system and data analysis for the Mill Quality department. Cover and support Inspection team leaders and assist Quality Manager in all tasks where required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work in a safe manner, undertake courses on manual handling, safe systems at work and understand the risk assessments of working in a textile production environment.
  • Create, maintain & update Department SOPs
  • Creation and continuous update of clear visual fault standards
  • Maintaining the training records of the Fabric Inspection team
  • Administrator for NCR process, making sure that all the documentation is updated
  • Assisting actively to manage/reduce Quarantine fabric levels
  • Managing department fabric stocks in different system and physical locations.
  • Maintaining of Fabric specifications and issuance of standards to all areas.
  • Efficiently and proactively working to complete all steps for Master roll, including Standard hangers and Achieve Room.
  • Responsible for data entry, accuracy and reporting of the assigned data
  • Supporting in the management of fabric inspection (on loom & finished fabric)
  • Support 5S of all departmental areas & Stock management
  • Accurate fault mapping using either QT terminals or Manual fault maps
  • Allocate fabric to appropriate stillages
  • Load 'A' frames on receipt of fabric form finisher
  • Transfer pieces on the system to the relevant location adding the agreed strings and allowances


PERSONAL PROFILE

• Uni graduate (Preferred)
• GSCE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) - Required
• Textile background (preferred)
• Previous manufacturing environment experience with high-quality standards (preferred)
• Microsoft Suite proficiency (Excel , Word, Power Point, Access) - Required
• Experience with Database , Cloud , Share Point (preferred)
• Experience with ERP, CAM ,CAD systems (preferred)
