JOB PURPOSE
To deliver a first class share plan service with a global remit, providing excellent technical support and education to colleagues across the business, advise on best practice guidance in the delivery of share plans both in the UK and overseas and create and maintain robust share plan administration systems and processes.
Responsible for the management and administration of Burberry's employee share schemes across 33 countries, with the objective of ensuring that they operate effectively and efficiently and the Burberry group as whole remains compliant by obtaining external legal advice as and when required. In partnership with Reward COE and external vendor, ensure that Burberry colleagues are actively engaged and educated in a key element of our benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure effective and compliant management of all Burberry share plans (covering both all-employee and discretionary share plans in the UK and globally), including annual events (such as invitations, awards, vestings and maturities) and all supporting activities required to successfully operate the share plans (including reporting requirements, payroll aspects and global mobility considerations)
- Manage the relationship with the company's external share plans administrator (and legacy administrators as appropriate) and work to continually improve the administrative aspects of all Burberry share plans
- Provide support to the Reward CoE on share plans, including in relation to the Remuneration Committee, disclosure of executive pay and ad hoc strategic share plans projects
- Work with the Communications team to ensure all relevant documentation and communications are defined and issued in a timely manner, and that all share plan communication is clear, accurate, informative and engaging
- Key lead for process excellence initiatives relating to share plans within Burberry
- Acts as an SME for share plans within Burberry
- Sets clear deliverables for Share Plan Administrator
- Assists in training others and developing share plans knowledge
- Manage partnership and contract with 3rd party vendor and hold regular review meetings to review performance and proactively drive through improvements
- Build a strong relationship with global Reward Managers, Reward Coe and Company Secretariat
- Work closely with the process owners, Payroll, ES Senior Managers and Reward CoE to understand root causes and represent process procedures, practical implications and exceptions
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Shares certification (ICSA), or equivalent experience level
- Experience of delivering best in class Share Plan management ideally on a global scale
- Proven track record in driving high performance and commercial value from 3rd Party Partners
- Experience working in a global organisation
