JOB PURPOSE

To lead key process changes and initiatives across the two Internal Manufacturing sites, and co-ordinate cyclical and one-off engagement and compliance activities in conjunction with the HR and functional leads.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management
  • Lead on agreed business change projects across the two Internal Manufacturing sites, liaising with stakeholders across other Burberry functions and locations, maintaining project plans and ensuring successful implementation at site level
  • Lead and project manage execution of cyclical engagement activities at site level and act as the main contact for any new initiatives from other areas of the business.
  • Provide regular agreed KPI reports and analysis information for areas supported

Events Management
  • Responsible for the site tour visitor presentation including the annual update of information
  • Support the hosting of site tours and presenting to visitors attending site and act as main contact for any internal of external photo/video shoots requested for IM sites
  • Manage the end to end organisation of the IM Annual Party
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers in relation to key events across the sites
  • Responsible for the implementation of the annual employee engagement survey and mid-year pulse surveys at site level, to include communications with site teams, arranging 'kiosk' sessions onsite for the non-digital population, arranging internal/external translation support, and co-ordinating post survey initiatives and action plans

Communication
  • Adapt corporate communications to more effectively reach the target audience at both sites, taking into consideration digital and non-digital populations, language and cultural differences, using a combination of written and verbal channels, including notice boards and digital canteen screens
  • Maintain visuals & information points around the sites. i.e. canteen screens and notice boards
  • Arrange for Polish translation of relevant documents onto all media
  • Continuously review existing internal communications methods and tools, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Lead on the planning and execution of twice-yearly IM Town Hall events, to include timeline of tasks to ensure on time delivery of the event, liaising with the IM leadership team to produce an engaging event, working with IT & translation vendors as needed, communications with wider teams before and after the event

Colleague engagement
  • Represent and advocate for Internal Manufacturing in the wider supply chain working group for D&I, including presenting at Supply Chain and IM Town Halls when required
  • Own the on-site Cultural events calendar including the annual update of date changes and sharing information site-wide, and lead and support the group of cultural champions to execute a series of events throughout the year
  • Support the celebration of long service and retirement anniversaries for site team members
  • Manage the English Language Learning Programme at the Castleford site
  • Manage onsite champion support of the HR Connect system
  • Support colleagues to understand and improve their knowledge of Burberry policies and procedures
  • Manage onsite 'round table' focus group events
  • Support with communications to the internal employee forum on anything specific to the role


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Experience of project management either leading or extensive involvement
  • Experience of working in a factory environment (preferred)
  • Experience of developing communication materials
  • Knowledge of Burberry policies and procedures
  • Competent with a range of IT software
