Streetwear Growth Lead (w/m/d)

The Streetwear Growth Lead will be working on boosting the Streetwear experience on Zalando, across all streetwear relevant categories (Textile, Footwear, Kids, Designer, Accessories). Elevation is to be done through the execution of Streetwear relevant projects, both internal and external, as well through acting as the Streetwear knowledge holder towards partners and brands.

The role is based in Berlin, Germany.
  • Strategic Execution: develop, maintain and execute an overarching Streetwear Strategy with clear roadmaps and timelines. Coordinate Streetwear focused initiatives across relevant functions within and beyond Category Management.
  • Partner Management: develop, maintain and execute partner specific strategies and projects to elevate the Streetwear proposition for the Zalando customer. Be and act as the knowledge holder of the Streetwear proposition towards our partners by consulting on, and alignment of tactics to increase the streetwear credibility.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ensure transparency across stakeholders to facilitate project progress. Maintain a strong network within the partners' organization and enable structured relationship management
  • Negotiation: set and achieve targets to grow allocations and access levels with the relevant Streetwear brands.
  • Minimum 8 years of commercial and/or buying experience in a Head Office and fashion knowledge, preferably with a background in Streetwear
  • In-depth knowledge of the Streetwear world with a relevant network across Streetwear brands and partners. Aware of trends, relevant brands and assortment.
  • As a strong leader, you are strategic and are able to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. You understand and are motivated by the challenges of the fashion e-com business. You pride yourself in your leadership skills with relevant experience leading a team
  • Excellent analytical skills, knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel and formulas) and combining the passion for numbers with fashion and trends
  • Negotiation is in your blood, and you are always a compelling figure when communicating with suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Quick thinking and proactive attitude, which also means you keep on top of things in a fast-paced environment, while embracing collaboration. Being able to work in a team as well as being very independent
