Data collection on Raw Materials/Suppliers and effective and efficient data management of all Raw Materials across the product categories in RTW with a key focus on RMs traceability and suppliers management. Driving strategic thinking through a matrix and data driven approach in order to drive efficiencies in ordering and cost negotiation as well as supplier quality performances review and on time delivery analysis.

Drive and manage the accuracy and consistency of the data within our PLM (and other systems) that support raw material transaction and reporting within our key business systems.


• Develop, maintain, manage and evolve a robust supplier matrix to meet current and future business needs
• Build & establish collaborative partnerships with key suppliers, including timely 2 way communications, feedback on performance, risk mitigation
• Drive the end to end management activities of the supplier base including but not limited to on-boarding, matrix & risk management, production & lead-time, capability & capacity management, performance & exit
• Support RM cost negotiation on core raw materials ensuring fair market value and driving cost benefits through reports
• Partner with the business on long term forecasting and planning of core raw material
• Build cost sheet break down for RMs focusing particularly on core RMs
• Map supply chain for core or strategic RMs/Suppliers
• Contribute and support sustainable materials and manufacturing in line with Burberry Ethical requirements.
• Build and maintain strategic industry links
• Follow commodity markets and anticipate business impact
• Track supplier performance on OTD and Quality in line with KPIs set
• Drive accuracy and consistency of the data that supports raw material transactions and reporting within our key business systems, including but not limited to Flex PLM & Bookit.
• In partnership with the relevant business teams support the traceability of RMs across all product categories in RTW
• In conjunction with the Raw Material Procurement team, develop and publish data quality reports to the key business stakeholders. Manage and drive improvement on supplier performances analysis and on suppliers and vendors matrix
• Review supplier performance management feedback & agree appropriate response mechanism
• Report on KPIs
• Ensure effective use of systems and maintenance & accuracy of data
• Publish monthly/quarterly the commodity newsletter with all relevant information on RMs #L1-CA1


• Excellent command of Excel
• Attention to details
• Numerical fluency
• Knowledge of blockchain and other traceability technologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
