The Team

Color Department reporting into Supply Transformation is responsible for Color Approvals and Color Optimization across PVH Europe Supply Chain. The team is implementing a Digital Color Approval Process for three years and working with Color Digital Dmix platform. The aim of the team is to digitize whole color approval process.

Position Description:

The Color Specialist is part of the Color Department under the Supply Chain Transformation. Reporting into the Color Director, the Color Specialist will work on implementing visual and digital color approval process across the divisions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Implementing Digital Approval Process in Dmix Platform
  • Visual and digital color approval of lab-dips, samples and bulk production in Europe
  • Visual and Digital Color process trainings for vendors and mills
  • Supporting CRT technicians in offshore offices
  • Utilizing and maintaining digital color measurement devices
  • Maintaining digital and visual color library
  • Ensuring color consistency across multiple styles, fabrics and vendors.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate approval records

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Experience in color & materials design or development
  • Experience to work with spectrophotometers
  • Experience in using digital platforms for color approval is an asset
  • Understanding of fabric knitting, weaving, dyeing and finishing
  • Experience with Epson Surecolor P-7500 printer is an asset
  • Knowledge in Centric PLM system is an asset
  • Demonstrates very good written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with a strong ability to multi-task
  • Collaborative and team player
  • Works well under pressure and on tight deadlines, able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, take initiative and pay close attention to detail
  • Has an entrepreneurial spirit with solutions oriented thinking and attitude

The Ideal Candidate:
  • 3-5 years' experience in a color or material development role
  • Proven track-record of working with digital color processes/platforms
  • A highly skilled background in color processes, spectrophotometers
  • Hunger to drive automation and standardize workflows whilst maintaining creative standards and elevation
  • Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills
