The Partner Governance team enables the growth of a healthy and competitive Partner ecosystem through policy definition, violation detection, and enforcement. Our job is to stay ahead of both existing and emerging trends within our partner ecosystem through policy definition, violation detection, and enforcement. We collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers, product managers, lawyers, content strategists, user researchers, marketers, and data scientists to deliver the best possible experience for both our partners and merchants.

The Program Manager role will create visibility for governance initiatives across the Ecosystem team. They will also partner with product teams to identify and advocate for product solutions when fraudsters and partners find new ways of circumventing our terms of service or abusing our platform.

This role will build and manage a product feedback loop with the relevant RnD teams and be responsible for governance projects and initiatives. This role specifically, will champion a program to regularly update Ecosystem's public-facing terms of service to ensure that our policies and guidelines evolve along with our product to protect our merchants, ensure our partners are building responsibly and maintain the integrity of our Ecosystem.

This is a complex, fast-paced and challenging role as we stay on top of ever changing products and trends.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage a product feedback loop with the relevant RnD teams
  • Build tools and processes that drive automation for a fast-growing team
  • Documenting processes and product requirements
  • Advocate for product changes based on findings and changing trends


Qualifications

  • Project Management: Experience leading initiatives across multiple disciplines and championing new concepts and ideas
  • Technical acumen: There's a lot of vernacular and processes when working with product teams.
  • Communication: You are comfortable contributing and soliciting feedback from teams across the organization and are great at drafting up product / tooling requirements.
  • Relationship management: You can interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups with the ability to hold people accountable
  • Growth mindset: You're agile, resourceful, and willing to continuously challenge yourself to learn and grow.

Bonus experience:
  • Experience with governance, or fraud and risk management
  • Legal experience is considered an asset
