OVERVIEW:

The Email Analyst is responsible for developing and executing various types of email campaigns, as well as measuring performance and providing thoughtful analyses. The ideal candidate must be analytical and numbers driven with a creative eye and can work under pressure while maintaining strong organization skills and attention to detail. This individual is a quick learner of the email channel in order to report on and identify opportunities to drive the email marketing business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Set up, QA and approve email campaigns by consolidating and delivering assets in a timely manner ensuring accuracy in creative content, links, and copy
  • Assist in the development and execution of customer journeys, triggers, and personalized campaigns
  • Pull and analyze email metrics on a daily/weekly/monthly and ad hoc basis with actionable next steps that will grow and optimize email campaigns
  • Be the liaison with external vendors in order to plan and execute new initiatives, as well as troubleshoot existing processes
  • Develop and implement quarterly testing plan focusing on all aspects - from idea generation, execution, and performance
  • Coordinate with various cross-functional teams such as site merchandising, digital merchants, and creative, to ensure we meet deadlines with our email vendor
  • Aid in reviewing & completing campaign briefs by adding a critical eye to the process, while calling out & addressing issues with the proper teams
  • Prepare presentations for Sr. Management related to current and future email initiatives
  • Additional duties as assigned in order to meet business needs
    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education/Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • 2-3 years in digital marketing; Email marketing experience a plus.


    Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
    • Skilled in fostering a collaborative work environment and building meaningful relationships.
    • Able to translate research findings and data analysis into actionable insights and strategies.


    Mathematical Skills:

    • Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division .


    Reasoning Ability:

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize next steps with diverse peer teams and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong data analysis and data visualization skills.
    • Problem solving skills with ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
    • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.


    Physical Demands:

    • This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting, hearing, and talking. May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Involves use of hands and fingers for typing on keyboard and using a mouse.


    Other Skills:
    • Ability to work on projects with cross-functional teams and align multiple priorities with different teams at a fast pace
    • Knowledge/background of E-commerce, Retail, Marketing.
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and creating processes in complex environments to drive customer centric thinking


    Work Hours:

    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
