To make our approach repeatable and scalable, our Beauty team will need talents that will strike the right balance of building new and unique capabilities, while leveraging shared Zalando capabilities to meet their goals.

As a Beauty Partner Marketing Manager within Zalando Marketing Services (ZMS) you will be responsible for developing the commercial framework of the Beauty proposition for ZMS in close cooperation with the ZMS sales team and the Beauty Marketing team. This will include creating an advertising framework around the Sephora partnership and developing tailored Marketing packages answering the needs of Beauty brands and partners.

You'll be part of a dynamic, high-performing environment, working collaboratively across ZMS, Zalando and Brand partner stakeholders, to create innovative campaign and partnership opportunities for our brands throughout the year. This role will focus on delivering a seamless experience for our most extensive marketing opportunities and implementing new strategic initiatives, managing the full project lifecycle across all teams.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • This role focuses on leading the ZMS Beauty advertising proposition by translating the needs of the business, clients and consumers as well as industry trends into campaigns and products
  • Represent ZMS within Beauty strategic initiatives across different Zalando functions, stay informed and ensure ZMS requirements are considered
  • Look for new advertising formats for ZMS Beauty clients and other commercial opportunities for growing their business with ZMS
  • Build a strong relationship to key Zalando Fashion Store Beauty stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with ZMS stakeholders such as Sales and Consumer Insights teams insights to identify opportunities for beauty categories and brand account growth, including but not limited to new commercial propositions and advertising formats
  • Use your strong understanding of beauty market, landscape and consumer to support calendar planning processes
  • Play a core role in the end-to-end project management of our Zalando Brand Days and Commercial Marketing Packages for Beauty partners by leading the projects team bringing campaigns to life, always ensuring the highest quality and the best results. Ensure a high level of both internal and external stakeholder expectation management by determining campaign critical paths, transparent accountability of tasks, and creating clear communication channels to deliver successful campaigns and on-time delivery
  • Monitor critical path & campaign performance to optimise and deliver maximum campaign efficiency, run project retrospectives & translate learnings into future plans
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • At least 5+ years in project-, marketing campaign management, business development or other commercial development positions
  • Experience within a digital marketing environment; preferably in the beauty industry, a fashion e-Commerce company or a digital media agency.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong perseverance - you take ownership, work in a structured & independent manner and do not lose sight of your goals within complex topics
  • You have a hands-on mentality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment dealing with many topics simultaneously and always thrive to find the best solution in the shortest possible time
  • An expert in prioritizing and managing workloads across simultaneous projects and strong in managing expectations of all parties involved; by staying cool, calm and collected even when the going gets tough.
  • Experienced in project and stakeholder management by building trust-based relationships within a matrix environment, and identifying the right stakeholders when working on tasks.
  • You are an expert in establishing new ways of working between stakeholders by defining process and continuously improving collaboration
  • Excellent communication skills in English - you are confident in interacting and presenting independently at a senior management level.
  • A team player who loves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. You live for change, embrace collaboration and act proactively.
