JOB SUMMARY

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Lead field recruitment for North America full-price and outlet stores
- Manage consistent recruiting process that meets high volume recruiting goalsefficiently (flexing up and down)
- Source, identify, interview, slate, and administer hiring process for:
  • All GM roles in existing stores
  • Select AGM roles and below where there is critical need
  • Regional Directors, District Managers, District Visual Managers, and General Managers openings
  • Other: Pop-up stores


- Proactively network and pipeline talent for future openings (planning and unplanned)

- Refine and shepherd the candidate experience and recruiting process:interviewing,finalizing compensation package, hiring and turn down, capturing of feedback; ensure all candidates
receive a consistently outstanding candidate experience regardless of whether we hire them
- Annually implement, communicate and maintain any changes to the following processes:
  • Offer letter and new hire paperwork
  • Workday and Social Media usage, access and maintenance
  • Reference check


- Review open position dashboard regularly with Field and Talent Leadership; identifythemes, present near term strategies. Report out quarterly and annually on longer term goals.
- Metrics and Results:
  • Deliver a 45 day average (or better) time to fill target
  • Deliver a target of hiring new store manager 6 -8 weeks out from open date
  • Achieve or beat: cost to fill budget, relocation budget, and a travel budget


- Develop recruitment capability in field management team; recruitment toolkit anddevelopmental training including interviewing skills, networking/sourcing and prospecting skills
- Participate in annual succession planning and talent pipelining summit; contributingfeedback as appropriate
- Represent the Tory Burch culture and brand in all interactions; presenting Tory asthe brand and company of choice

Previous Experience will include:

  • Minimum of 7 - 10 years field recruitment experience; retail stores - preferably fashion retail required; network required
  • Knowledge and practical application of foundational Talent systems/process
  • Skill for identifying top talent; several years successfully interviewing, hiring and retaining talent
  • Demonstrated ability to track and deliver strong YOY metric results, including time to fill and internal promotion rate
  • Experience working in a consultative environment; able to effectively influence and advise without ownership
  • Socially adept, with a broad network and strong PR/selling skills
  • Visible and ever-present passion for the product, the brand, retail and the stores
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented
  • Sense of urgency and ability to follow through to closure is critical
  • Builder and planner, rolls-up-sleeves
  • Self-directed, self-motivated and self-aware
  • Not ego-less, but not ego-driven; possesses a point of view and confidence based on experience
  • Strong PC skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint; SAP/Workday a plus!
  • Warmth, sense of humor, empathy and natural optimism/can-do demeanor required...
