Who What Wear is looking to hire a UX Designer to join its award-winning culture! If designing user-centered experiences gets you out of bed in the morning, we want to hear from you. 

As the UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating an engaging, personalized, and integrated experience for our users and will steer the connection between user experience and company objectives. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a collaborative team-based environment while continuously improving and expanding on their own knowledge and skillset.  

The position is based in Los Angeles and reports directly to the VP of Product Management.

Key Duties:

  • Design responsive user-centered experiences for Who What Wear to create an engaging, personalized and integrated experience for our users.
  • Partner with product and engineering counterparts to work through the holistic view of the user experience to provide a superior and seamless product experience
  • Be a key contributor to the product development process including market research, competitive analysis, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
  • Collaborate with partners on your cross-functional team to understand the needs of our users, business initiatives and advertisers to build meaningful solutions.
  • Employ user research and testing techniques, backed by analytics data, to develop a deep understanding of how users engage with our content, what matters to them, and identify pain points.
  • Experience designing for site performance, with an understanding of Google Core Web Vitals Initiative.  
  • Monitor and have knowledge of wider industry UX trends and relevant technology trends

     

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience with end-to-end digital product design with proven experience in visual and UX  best practices to meet unique brand and business needs.
  • Expert in product design, user interface and interaction design, visual design, storytelling, and prototyping.
  • Strong research methods to accurately investigate design opportunities and apply solutions.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Demonstrates an understanding and interest in the fashion industry.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • Problem-solving skills, as well as good planning, time management and organizational proficiencies.
