Job Overview:

The Inventory Strategy Planner will participate in high-level inventory optimization projects, own the process and strategy for Hold-and-Flow, and supporting size planning for RTW. This is a highly analytical role with opportunities to participate in company-wide strategic initiatives, and collaborate with cross functional teams across the Central organization. Our ideal candidate is analytical, efficiency-oriented, and able to draw high-level conclusions from large amounts of data.

Essential Functions:
  • Own and manage Hold-and-Flow growth and optimization strategies
  • Develop and implement business-driving size strategies across RTW
  • Build pre-season plans for existing inventory strategy initiatives and monitor weekly performance in-season
  • Partner with fulfillment and operations teams on workload impact related to inventory strategy projects
  • Leverage knowledge of size planning to maximize effectiveness of inventory strategies across all sized-businesses
  • Review existing size profiles and develop recommendations to improve accuracy and efficiency across RTW
  • Analyze location level size-selling performance, and update size profiles to maximize opportunities by location
  • Collaborate with Merchants to update and maintain size profile library
  • Partner with L&D to lead trainings on size-planning for entry-level merchants

Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
  • 3 years of prior experience in a retail environment preferred
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to draw high-level conclusions from large amounts of data
  • Ability to build partnerships with buying and planning counterparts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and PC skills
