Job Details

KOIBIRD is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to be responsible for building and servicing our customers across the business. You will be responsible for implementing a proactive and dynamic approach to sales across your team and looking at new approaches in sales for running a retail store in 20201 and to guarantee the goals set for your department. 

Store Management .

Drive sales daily while proposing new initiatives and events to attract customers.

Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement across relevant areas.

Ensure the team deliver a consistent and exceptional standard of customer service through regular training and product knowledge.

Establish clients’ needs, offer guidance and advice, going a step beyond to provide exceptional and personal service.  

Ensure staff are empowered to Manage VIP customers and overall management of new customers.

Collect and update customer information to ensure efficient use of client book and accurate data capture.

Develop and maintain client relationships.

Network and develop relationships with personal shoppers, stylists, and new clients. 

Assist PR with arranging and proposing Store events.

Create personalised style edits to share with clients on a regular basis, keeping them up to date with new deliveries and exclusive brands. 

Be an example and role model of excellent customer service and senior sales to the entire team. 

Be responsible for the integration and training of new starters 

Develop sales strategies and objectives for the store and for each of the stores’ employees. 

Monitor individual KPI’s, investigating issues where necessary.

Motivate the team to drive sales to achieve store targets.

Hold bi-annual performance reviews and be part of the recruitment process, interview candidates and create your own superior sales team 

Maintain the store to a high standard in terms of VM, cleanliness, service, and presentation all according to company guidelines.

Business Development 

Identify products and services with the greatest potential for increasing revenue.

Understand and integrate both the store business and the online business. 

Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales 

Update the CEO and your line manager on the business regularly 

Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what competitors are doing.

Initiate changes to improve the business, e.g., revising opening hours to ensure the store can compete effectively in the local market.

Promote the business by liaising with local hotels, potential partners, and the community in general.

Identify new online customers who are potential fashion high spending customers and provide them a personal customer service. 

Work closely with the COO to implement a seasonal sales strategy. 

Requirements

A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role.

Clienteling is a career, mindset and passion.

A love of fashion and experience in luxury retail.

Excellent communication skills.

A self driver that has the confidence to seek and implement new ideas.
