Zalando Fulfillment Solutions is Zalando's innovative online platform logistic service, connecting customers and brands across 17 markets. We develop logistic solutions for our +1,500 fashion brands helping them to bring head-to-toe fashion to more than 23 million active customers.

As a Lead Key Account Manager (w/m/d) - you would be responsible for monitoring and handling the most important client accounts of Zalando Fulfillment Solutions. You will also bring in new business from existing clients and you will develop new relationships with potential clients.
  • Develop a strong team and promote a positive and professional team environment that fosters trust, integrity, and superior performance standards
  • Identify, support and coach individual needs of the team and focus on growing future talents while providing regular feedback on the performance of the team to ensure their development - monitor your team's performance against their targets for growth, turnover, profit and project outcome
  • Participate in attracting, recruiting and onboarding a high performing team
  • Develop international strategic brand and retailer partners and enhance partner engagement mindset, with the purpose of building long lasting relationships
  • Lead the execution of clienteling activities, trigger commercial, ops and tech improvements with you team, developing actions to reach clear goal and KPIs
  • Help our Key Accounts navigate the Zalando platform and define superior solutions to boost our joint business and drive sales, also coordinating with adjacent departments, e.g., for Partner Program, Lounge, Marketing, Category Management or Consumer Insights
  • Drive continuous development of the Key Account function within Zalando, also leading projects or project modules together with Senior Management - organize documentations, tools and processes for the team to ensure effective reporting and communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • University degree in the field of business administration, supply chain management, logistics or economics
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience as Key Account Manager for leading logistic and/or e-commerce B2B/B2C service providers is obligatory. Experience gained at leading Third Party Logistic Providers
  • Passion for sales and building business relationships and a strong proactive working attitude. Pragmatic and structured in your communication.
  • Excellent level in English and German communication skills (verbal and written). Working with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite are part of your daily routine
