FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER

GRAY MATTERS is looking for a freelance creative individual to develop engaging graphic content and experiences across digital and social platforms.

The candidate must be extremely thorough and focused, informed and passionate about social and digital trends. Somebody with a positive and proactive attitude, able to embrace the challenges of a small company environment.

This position is based 50% offsite and 50% onsite at our studio in Brooklyn

Here below examples of typical responsibilities:

- Design and upload weekly newsletters

- Design and upload assets for graymattersnyc.com: homepage, brand stories pages, product pages etc.

- Coordinate with Web developer to implement content that requires coding

- Develop and manage all brand collateral including look books, invitations, packaging, seasonal graphics, company presentations

- Research visual trends, in view of maintaining a current and relevant brand image

- Create and curate Gray Matters content on social platforms.

- Supervise all content initiatives to ensure brand consistency and assure positive customer experiences across channels

- Collaborate with ecommerce marketing for ideation sessions and content calendar creation

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

-1,2 years of experience working in a creative agency environment or design department of a corporation. 

-A genuine interest in Fashion and a sense of aesthetics in line with Gray Matters

-Punctual and reliable

-Impeccable organization and time management skills

-Empathetic with a positive energy and ability to communicate with an international team

-Multi-tasker, able to use discretionary judgment  working independently. Balance quality with efficiency
