FINANCE

We're a global team with a presence in all of our locations around the world. Our biggest teams are based in the UK and Portugal. Our team in Porto focuses on financial reporting and operations, while the Group Finance team in London is made up of Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury and Commercial Finance. All of our teams play an instrumental role within the business, from developing best practice, delivering strategic projects and helping us to tell our story with data.

PORTUGAL

Our Portugal offices are located in four of the country's most vibrant cities - Braga, GuimarĂ£es, Lisbon and Porto, known for their rich historical background and warm atmosphere. The teams working in Portugal cover all areas of FARFETCH, from Digital Production to Operations, People and Technology. In our GuimarĂ£es and Porto offices you can experience the latest fashion trends in our European Production sites, and in our Braga, Porto and Lisbon offices you can immerse yourself in the tech world!

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager you will support the Group's internal financial reporting requirements including preparation of monthly reports, working with multiple teams to get better understanding of the monthly figures. You will work with the Finance Technical Team in Portugal and the UK to lead the development of reports using SAP BPC.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Lead the month-end reporting process, working with the Reporting, Financial Planning &Analysis and Business Intelligence teams to ensure it is delivered;
    • Run and circulate SAP BPC reports in the quarter-end for the consolidation process and participate in the collection of complete and accurate commentary for the quarterly fluxes;
    • Collaborate with the external auditors whenever necessary;
    • Manage the process of following up on consolidation adjustments;
    • Support on a range of different and varied projects across the business on an ad-hoc basis, including the initial on boarding and reporting of new acquisitions and their ongoing performance's oversight;
    • help on using the SAP BPC environment to provide a suite of reports for use across the business.


WHO YOU ARE

    • A professional with bachelor or master degree in accounting, management, economics or auditing;
    • At least 7 years of functional experience in areas of accounting, auditing or consolidation;
    • Experienced in group reporting;
    • Experienced working with large datasets / databases and solid excel skills;
    • Experienced in financial reporting (IFRS) and preparation/ review of management accounts;
    • Experienced in accounting software skills, within a group environment implementation experience is an advantage - knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and SAP BPC will be a plus;
    • You have demonstrable experience leading projects;
    • Proficient in English is mandatory.
