About the Role

As a key member of the Finance team, this role will report directly to the Finance Head of Growth and Digital. This position will assume a strategic role supporting the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) and partnering with other teams to identify financial opportunities by looking beyond operating silos and drive accountability for capturing efficiencies across the Digital and Operations organization.

What You'll Do

  • Provide decision support and financial oversight for the Digital Transformation Office. The Digital Transformation Office will unify Gap Inc.'s digital transformation pillars and ensure pathways to measurable and sustainable value.
  • Drive and support operational efficiency and cost management across the Digital and Operations teams, in conjunction with the finance teams supporting those efforts. These include the ecommerce platform, GapTech, Real Estate, Logistics, and Global Sourcing.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with finance counterparts to understand current state operations and identify, prioritize, and execute identified operational improvements.
  • Build and maintain the strategic roadmap for cost efficiency and investment effectiveness, in support of the Company's long term earnings profile.
  • Align financial strategies to the business and drive investment in financial growth; proactively evaluate and advise on the impact of capital investments and expenses.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial mind-set geared at problem solving.


Who You Are

  • Deep expertise in Finance, including operations, and business insights
  • Experience in companies experiencing broad scale change and rapid growth
  • Understanding of retail operations
  • Proven ability to connect the dots on how value gets created, drive growth, and profitability
  • Ability to use analytics to support complex decisions
  • Ability to lead with agility, pivoting resources to the Company's most pressing issues and strategic vision.
  • Capable of strategically influencing business partners through diplomacy, building consensus, negotiating, and exercising leadership skills
