Senior Product Manager - Brand Recommendations

As a Product Manager in ZMS’s Insights Team you will be responsible for our automated insights and recommendations product. This product automatically generates and surfaces marketing recommendations for the brands selling on Zalando via a self-service B2B portal.

Your insights will be generated through a deep and data based understanding of the relationships among customers, fashion products and fashion brands.

You will interact with brands selling on Zalando, Zalando’s customers and influencers. You will work with Zalando engineers, applied scientists and fellow product managers to develop these insights and surface them in a meaningful way to brands.

  • Identify new opportunities to generate insights and recommendations that are driven through a deep understanding of our partners’ business goals and how we can help them achieve these
  • Act as an owner of the ZMS Insights product offering: set a clear vision, smart roadmap and ambitious targets that you report to your stakeholders and the ZMS product community
  • Work with dedicated designers, engineers and data scientists to create scalable solutions and shape the next generation of ZMS offerings
  • Manage complex and diverse inter-team relationships and lead company-wide collaborations
  • Be a mentor to other colleagues by showcasing your knowledge and expertise and acting as a role model for successful product management

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager / Product Owner
  • You excel in developing intuitive and engaging user workflows that you apply to creating reporting and data insights solutions
  • You have extensive experience in product discovery and working backwards from customer feedback
  • You are able to define and monitor your own KPIs in order to measure impact and success of the product
  • You have a strong business sense and a passion for driving innovation and solving problems for the customer
  • You constantly apply logical and easy-to-understand frameworks to break down complex multi-facetted problems and identify underlying patterns.
  • You collaborate across multiple product areas to solve problems that matter and your clear communication skills help create clarity for diverse audiences
  • You bridge the natural divide between business and technology and have experience in agile working environments with cross-functional teams.
