We are looking for a dynamic, creative and tenacious PR Executive to play a pivotal role in delivering our ambitious press and influencer marketing strategy. Working alongside the Senior Brand, Social and PR Manager and our external agency, you will be responsible for building relationships with talent, press and media, and for creating unforgettable PR campaigns and moments that generate buzz, awareness and love for the hush brand.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm and develop disruptive PR stories, creative mailers and events that align with business objectives, product launches and brand campaigns
  •  Be the day-to-day point of contact for our external PR agency
  • Daily management of the hush press office, responding promptly to direct media enquiries and sample requests
  • Establish strong relationships and build connections across all targeted media in print, online, influencers, broadcast and trade. Be proactive in identifying new talent that align with our brand and business goals
  • Draft, edit and issue high quality, compelling written materials including press releases, interview briefing documents and quotes from hush spokespeople
  • Work with the Senior Brand, Social and PR Manager, Events Manager and PR Agency to deliver unforgettable press events
  • Responsible for requesting, managing, coordinating and processing press samples, working closely with the B&M Team and agency
  • Work with the Senior PR Manager to execute our media partnership strategy
  • Work with the Editor and Events Manager to choose and secure press and influencer contributors as part of seasonal content and events plans to ensure a 360 approach
  • Manage press clippings, ensuring all credits are filed correctly and organized efficiently
  • Maintain and update our internal press database
  • Arrange product orders for VIP gifting, stylists, and journalist requests. Manage the FOC tracker to ensure gifted product is recorded and tracked against monthly budgets
  • Manage the PR calendar, making sure that planning documents are accurate and up-to-date
  • Liaise with internal peers such as the Social Media Exec, Editor and Digital Team to create campaigns that work across all channels
  • Alignment with the Creative Team to ensure clear and consistent communication of the brand
  • Be instrumental in planning and executing creative mailers to ensure cut-through
  • Monitor press and digital coverage, maintaining our dashboard and reporting results to the wider team
  • Monitor news and media relations - bring relevant issues to the attention of the Brand Team
  • Be a constant champion for PR across the business


Required skills

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Public Relations with a proven track record of building brand awareness and buzz through both traditional press and influencer campaigns
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press releases. This role involves liaising with internal stakeholders, press, influencers, and management, so strong written and verbal skills are key
  • A good understanding of the role that social influencers can play in delivering value for a brand
  • The ability to build strong relationships, think creatively and manage your time effectively
  • Flexible, adaptable working style with an ability to learn quickly and multi-task
  • Great press and influencer contacts within the fashion and lifestyle industry
  • Highly creative with proven experience of coming up with disruptive ideas and activations
  • Agency management would be advantageous
