Partner Experience Manager (w/m/d) - Payments

As Partner Experience Manager (m/w/d) Payments you are the first contact point for our B2B partners which are using our payment services (factoring and future B2B products) on the Zalando Platform. You present the team as a trust advisor and provide dedicated support to our partners on all topics from onboarding, billing, refunds, tax and payout processes.

You work closely with the team, internal stakeholders and partners to improve our internal billing and accounting processes as well as to automate manual work around our B2B payment products.

You demonstrate strong communication skills with partners, enjoy solving challenging issues that can have a technical, financial or operational root cause and are able to escalate effectively when required to obtain desired results.

  • You help partners with their requests related to invoices, payouts, refunds or tax topics.
  • You understand the requirements of our partners and drive the adoption of our B2B payment product through an excellent service culture.
  • You support the establishment of our knowledge base, KPI, reporting, CRM tool, templates, and communication documents.
  • You connect with the right stakeholders, gather data from our tools to answer related questions, and independently drive the development of new processes and solutions forward to improve our partner experience.

  • Experience as an Operations, Business or Partner Manager in a commercial or finance/accounting role.
  • Partner and service orientation with the goal to increase the adoption of our payment product through excellent partner experience.
  • Research and analytical skills, understanding of financial and accounting processes (e.g. financial statements, accounts receivables, accounts payables), and willingness to find the root cause of issues and to provide solutions.
  • Working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP), order management tools, Salesforce or Jira and knowledge of finance or accounting processes on the B2B side are a plus.
  • ideally university degree in Business Administration or in a comparable field or any relevant qualifications.
