The Assistant Merchant provides general support to the International & Special Projects merchandising team.


  • Proactively shop the market and create recaps of relevant competitive special project & GWP items.
  • Create and maintain global line sheets for special projects & GWP items, manage system set up and maintenance.
  • Review all special project & GWP buys at time of MOQ; create buy recaps for special projects & GWP.
  • Analyze special project sales weekly and recap in hindsight format.
  • Partner/respond daily with international wholesale teams on requests including tracking, costing, product details or other information requests.
  • Pull international wholesale sales weekly and create monthly recaps to share with leadership team.
  • Provide support for global pricing competitive analysis.
  • Compile data from regions and share with category merchant teams.
  • Provide general assistance and support to merchandising team as needed particularly with system, sample management and market support.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a retail/wholesale environment and prior merchandising internship required
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
