We are recruiting for a bright and talented Press & VIP Manager to join our London Press team. Reporting to the Global Head of Press & VIP, this role is responsible for delivering the brand strategy to all the Paul Smith global press teams. Focused on internal communication with key markets in Australia, Europe, USA, Japan, and Asia. The successful candidate will ensure all departments are aligned, defining brand awareness and timely sharing of all necessary collateral.

Responsibilities:
•    Work with the Global Head of Press & VIP to achieve the seasonal PR and VIP strategy objectives for all Paul Smith lines. 
•    Support the Global Head of Press & VIP with communicating seasonal brand objectives to the press teams and ensure all teams are working to the same objectives.
•    Support all markets on all elements of the seasonal activations including catwalk shows and presentations.
•    Liaise and support the planning of brand activations such as social influencer activities, product gifting and seeding, key launches and events for all press teams.
•    Monitor global press reporting and results, collating this information into measurable deliverables.
•    Lead the Press & VIP Assistant Global and the Showroom Coordinator in all sample management and collation of inhouse reports.
•    Provide day to day leadership support to the direct reports to ensure career development.

Essential Experience and Skills Required: 
•    Credible VIP and Events press experience at a senior level gained within the designer, luxury market in both the UK and internationally.
•    Credible organisational, planning and presentation experience.
•    Established constructive working relationships with the press and online media.
•    Knowledge and understanding of media handling techniques.
•    Able to write effective press releases. 
•    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point and Social Media.

•    Highly systematic and well organised. 
•    Good commercial and aesthetic awareness with a high level of attention to detail.
•    Able to work to own initiative to meet key deadlines. 
•    Self-motivated & able to motivate others.
•    Well-presented and smart appearance. 
•    Able to travel and work evenings and weekends for PR events, as required.
