At The RealReal (TRR), our business outcomes are a direct function of hiring great talent. We are looking for a talent acquisition leader to own recruitment for our nationally distributed sales team at scale. This is an opportunity for you to own and drive a best in class talent practice and drive outcomes with senior leaders in the organization. You will lead and grow a team of capable talent partners responsible for hiring more than 500  TRR team members in 2022. While doing this, you will get to shape the culture of the recruiting team as well as TRR at large. Importantly, you will serve as a strategic thought and leadership partner on the Talent Acquisition and People team.

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Grow, lead, inspire, and develop a distributed team at scale including Managers, Leads, Recruiters, and Sourcers
  • Support hiring for TRR's full sales organization including insides sales, field sales, leadership roles and sales org support roles 
  • Serve as a trusted business partner for your client teams and people team partners, offering counsel, expertise collaboration, and understanding of their businesses, variables and outcomes
  • Build out practices for recruiting at scale, working closely with hiring and TA Leadership to create scalable, efficient and effective processes 
  • Lead with data, providing recruiting status reports and communications to senior leadership and key business partners/cross functional business partners as needed
  • Innovate with your people partners including HR Business Partners, Talent Operations, Recruiting Marketing and others to practice, systems, processes and talent brand
  • Drive The RealReal's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practice from a recruiting lens including building affinity, sourcing, training  and selection strategies in partnership with our DEI leadership team
  • Be an agent in our employee culture and a voice through our employment brand

What You Bring To The Role
  • Deep experience in a volume recruiting environment 
  • Leadership of scaled recruiting teams as well as leadership of managers
  • Demonstrated effective partnership and influence with business teams and senior leadership- ability to solve in tight collaboration to achieve predictability and business outcomes
  • Ability to own outcomes including planning, operations, team development, recruiting practice 
  • Uses data to inform decisions and improve practices as well as provide leaders with insights and information for business inputs
  • Committed to building an supported, engaged and effective recruiting team in support of our TRR's business objectives

We make selling effortless with free virtual appointments, in-home pickup, drop-off and direct shipping. We do all of the work for consignors, including authenticating, using AI and machine learning to determine optimal pricing, photographing and listing their items, as well as handling shipping and customer service. At our 13 retail locations, including our eight shoppable stores, customers can sell, meet with our experts and receive free valuations.
