Job Title: Senior Copywriter
Primary Purpose: the senior copywriter at kate spade new york plays an important role in driving traffic and sales to our website, as well as retail and outlet shops. from emails to instagram, packaging to special projects, the senior copywriter is responsible for communicating our brand values and supporting global brand awareness across all categories and channels, and works in partnership with the other members of the editorial team.

- Write engaging copy that inspires and informs the customer across key digital and 3-d touch points, including emails, packaging, signage, and instagram as well as emails and supporting assets for sale events, outlet, CRM initiatives and new store openings.
- Bring seasonal merchandising and marketing initiatives to life through words and wit through a global lens.
- Work closely with Editorial Managers and brand art directors to conceptualize these ideas, and partner with the digital art directors as well as marketing strategy and creative marketing teams and merchants to execute content.

- A broad liberal arts education or equivalent work experience. B.S. or B.A. in Journalism, English or Creative Writing preferred.
- 3-4 years of experience as a copywriter
