About the Role

In this role, you will create content that highlights our people, culture and values. You will serve as a storyteller and marketing lead who can ideate creative moments that matter and bring them to life for our current and future employees. The successful candidate will align Talent Acquisition needs with Company and Brand comms priorities to amplify our employee value proposition across talent markets. You'll bring a breadth of knowledge across brand-reputation management, social media management, events and partnerships while keeping one eye towards new, innovative ways of communicating our purpose and brand to target audiences across digital, emerging comms and in-person channels.

What You'll Do

  • Lead storytelling strategy and copywriting / editorial for employer brand content across The Thread and Newsroom and other owned channels (e.g. digital screens, careers site)
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to create and implement employer brand social media strategy and content for LinkedIn including developing a framework/guidance for internal ambassadors to share our message through social media
  • Develop strategies and objectives as a content marketer, and know how stories are used to build and execute year-round brand engagement
  • Support events, partnerships, and content creation for brands and creative roles including priority message maps, speaking points, brochures, presentations and videos
  • Create and implement a best place to work awards strategy and identification of other award associations to build Gap Inc's brand and employer reputation, owning the application process in partnership with the communications teams
  • Serve as the key point of contact for Talent Acquisition leaders supporting our billion-dollar purpose-led brands and creative functions across the organization
  • Partner with brand marketing teams to highlight break-through creative campaigns and marketing efforts that support our employer brand message as a way to attract and retain top talent
  • Partner with talent acquisition and brand marketing teams to identify opportunities to amplify planned consumer campaigns in compelling and relevant ways for future talent.


Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in employer brand, brand marketing, content marketing, public relations, partnership management or communications
  • Passionate about employee culture and experience, and bringing it to life for prospective talent
  • Creative and convincing storyteller with excellent writing skills and experience developing a strategic messaging framework
  • Experience managing external agencies and vendors
  • Experience using social media and marketing analytics to inform content strategy
  • Curious about understanding candidate insights across our brand-driven and creative roles
  • Proven people leader, able to manage direct reports as well as cross-function teams and stakeholders
